After graduating I worked in the post room for the NUJ and broadcast at the weekends for a community radio station in south east London before becoming a news reporter on a local paper in Derbyshire;  went to San Francisco and covered politics and sport for KQED.  Then worked for Clubcall, Sportsmedia, ITN and the BBC before freelancing for the BBC,  Eurosport, RAI, Setanta, RTE,  Sportfive, talkSPORT, Today FM,  IRN, Olympic Broadcast Services,  BFBS, Radio Wimbledon and more than a few others.
